During gameplay, exposure to flashing lights or patterns
may trigger Photosensitive Epileptic Seizures.
These can manifest in a variety of symptoms including dizziness, hallucinations, eye or facial twitching, arm or leg spasms or tremors, disorientation,
confusion, and/or temporary loss of consciousness.
If you lose consciousness or experience convulsions during a seizure, you may injure yourself by falling against nearby objects.
Here are some preventive measures that may help those with Photosensitivity Syndrome:
- Sit at least 60 cm away from the screen when possible.
- Keep your gaming area well-lit to reduce the effect of flashing lights.
- Lower the screen brightness.
- Avoid playing when extremely tired.
- Take frequent breaks.
- Monitor your condition regularly.
- If symptoms are severe, periodically alternate covering one eye at a time.
